Kumasi Academy, located in Asokore Mampong, has a rich history dating back to 1956 when it was established as a middle school/seminary by American Baptist missionaries. The school has undergone several name changes, including Sadler Baptist School and Asokore Mampong Secondary School, before finally being renamed Kumasi Academy in 1966. Today, Kumasi Academy offers a holistic education to its students, providing an excellent academic, vocational, and moral training. With a mixed gender student body and a double track system, the school aims to prepare its students to serve their country and the world. The school's mission is to utilize its students' god-given conscience, mind, heart, hand, and talents for the world of work and to the service of mankind.
