About Okomfo Anokye Senior High

Established in 1964, Okomfo Anokye Senior High is a co-educational institution with a rich history as the first Secondary school in the then Afiya Sekyere District. The school was initially housed in Presbyterian and Salvation Army Churches before being absorbed by the Government of Ghana. Today, it operates on a Double Track system, offering a holistic education to its students. With a strong focus on academic excellence, the school aims to produce responsible and well-rounded individuals who can pursue their tertiary course specialisations.
